Policy
Baggage & parcels.
What travels with you, what is weighed and charged at the park, and what we will not carry.
No baggage policy has been published yet.
What follows is a draft structure describing how the system behaves today. It is not the operator's policy and it has not been reviewed by a lawyer.
Draft — pending legal review. This page describes how luggage is handled by the booking and manifest systems today. The allowance and the excess rate are commercial decisions Kanat Automobile has not yet made — they are marked below rather than guessed, because an allowance published here is one the parks have to honour at the gate.
1. What you can bring
Luggage is not booked online and is not part of your fare. It is presented, weighed and recorded at the park on the day you travel, against the trip you are booked on.
[TO CONFIRM] the free allowance — how many bags, and up to what weight, travel at no extra charge with a paid seat, and what may be carried on your lap in the cabin.
Space in the hold is finite and is shared with the parcels a coach is carrying, so bring what you need and arrive in good time. Seats are sold up to 30 minutes before departure and boarding closes 5 minutes before it — luggage has to be weighed and loaded inside that window.
2. Excess luggage
Anything beyond the allowance is weighed and charged at the park. Staff record the owner, the weight in kilograms and the amount, and the charge is settled there and then — by cash, transfer or card. It appears on the trip's manifest, not on your online booking, so it will not show on your ticket.
[TO CONFIRM] the rate charged per kilogram or per excess bag.
Carriage of excess luggage always depends on space on the day. If the hold is full it cannot travel, whatever has been paid.
3. Parcels and waybills
We carry parcels between parks on scheduled coaches, recorded against the trip as a waybill with a label, a weight and a price, and paid at the park when the parcel is handed over. Parcels are not booked through this website — bring them to a park, or call us first.

4. What we do not carry
Staff may refuse any item, and may open a bag or a parcel before accepting it. Items that are illegal, dangerous to other passengers, or that a coach cannot lawfully carry will not be loaded.
[TO CONFIRM] the published list of prohibited and restricted items — fuel and flammables, gas cylinders, weapons, livestock, perishables, and anything else the parks are expected to turn away. This list needs to be one the parks can actually enforce, so it is left to be agreed rather than drafted here.
5. Loss and damage
Keep money, documents, phones, laptops, medication and anything fragile with you in the cabin rather than in the hold.
[TO CONFIRM] the limit of liability for luggage and parcels lost or damaged in carriage, any declared-value option, and the insurance carried. This is the part of the page most in need of legal review and no figure is stated until it exists.
6. Lost property
Anything left on a coach is taken off at the destination park. Contact us with your booking reference and the trip date as soon as you can, and we will check.
